About The Salon Doctor

The Salon Doctor concept originated in 1998 when we noticed that salons seemed to be overlooking important quality marketing and promotional items like appointment cards, vip cards, price lists, posters, signage and websites. In those days a salon website was pretty much unheard of.

We started out with the design and manufacture of our own hand made salon appointment cards, gift vouchers and other types of very high quality promotional cards like the, plastic credit card type vip card or the privileged card. Through this we progressed into all types of salon promotional items like the large format posters, lightbox displays, price lists, stationary and gift vouchers and even full signage which can be seen in many modern salons. Due to the cards using a high quality gold and silver foiled effect, clients were always more than happy to show off these unique items.

The natural progression from here was for us to become specialists in marketing and design for other salons. Using our experise we are in the unique position of being able to advise and help salons improve their business as we know what does and doesn't work.
